A Salina man was arrested late Saturday night in connection with possessing a stolen gun.

Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 20-year-old Jackon Goth entered the plant at Tony’s Pizza, 3019 Scanlan, a facility which prohibits firearms, at about 11 p.m. with a gun in the waistband of his pants.

Personnel at the plant contacted police, who immediately responded and attempted to locate Goth, who had already left the facility.

Sweeney said Goth, who was an employee at Tony’s, was found by officers across the street from the plant.

At the time of his arrest, Goth was in possession of an unloaded small snubnose .38 caliber revolver which had been reported stolen out of McPherson County in April of 2014. He was also in possession of several rounds of .38 caliber ammunition, as well as personal use methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Goth was booked into the Saline County Jail on several requested charges including possession of stolen property, possession of a stimulant and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also booked on a Salina Municipal Court arrest warrant for failure to appear, according to Sweeney.
