A Salina man was arrested early Friday evening after reportedly threatening several juveniles with a knife.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 60-year-old Jon Geary was involved in a disturbance with seven juvenile males between the ages of 11 and 15 at about 5:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Fairdale.

Geary was involved in a verbal altercation with the boys, when at one point, he went inside his apartment and returned with a knife and allegedly threatened to stab the boys.

He was taken into custody and booked on requested charges of aggravated assault, criminal threats and disorderly conduct, according to Sweeney.
