The theft of a cellular phone and a theft from a home highlight today’s crime report.
Jesse Martin, 31, was loading bread on a trailer Wednesday afternoon at Sara Lee Bakery, 722 S. Broadway, when he put his LG G5 cellular phone down on the trailer for several minutes. At some point between 2:45 and 3:02 p.m., the phone was taken from the trailer. Police say the phone is valued at $600.
Two people living together at a home in the 800 block of Hancock tell police that several items came up missing after an acquaintance stayed with them. Ten articles of clothing valued at $75, a white Apple iPad mini valued at $500, and $20 in cash belonging to Alexis McFarlane and Eric Larson disappeared sometme between 12 p.m. October 8th and 9:52 a.m. October 9th. McFarlane and Larson indicated that the acquaintance had stayed with them during that period of time.
