Introducing Becky Patrick, your BANK VI Hero of the Week!

Becky was nominated for the outstanding work she does in her position as the Diploma Coordinator for USD 305.

She was worked with the school district for more than two decades, starting as an English teacher.

As the Diploma Coordinator, Becky primarily tracks down those that have not completed their high school education and gets them started in a program to help them get their diploma. She goes above and beyond to help every student complete high school. “I push, encourage them, or whatever it takes to get them to the end,” she said.

Becky also oversees the Social Committee at the Salina West Alternative Program, a volunteer position. She also goes out of her way to celebrate staff birthdays and other special occasions. She loves to see people comfortable and happy, especially those in the teaching field.

Those close to her say Becky’s character is so outgoing that it’s contagious. “She totally makes a great impact on people and she is an amazing human being,” her nominator said.
