Ninth Arrest Made from October Most Wanted List

A Salina man featured in the October edition of the Salina’s Most Wanted List has been arrested.

On Friday morning, the Saline County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest of Kenneth Nelson, who was being sought on warrants charging him with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of marijuana and felony possession of opiates. He was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon.

This brings the total number of arrests from this month’s list, which was released on October 1st, to nine.

Since the inception of the Salina’s Most Wanted program in 2000, a total of 2,372 arrests have been made as a direct result of tips generated by the list. As a result of those tips, 345 rewards have been paid out.
