Saline County officials have announced the reopening of a county road.

Mariposa Road from Whitmore Road to Kipp Road was reopened to traffic late today following completion of the replacement of a cross road culvert pipe and rebuilding of the road section, which was eroded due to flooding.

The site is located a quarter of a mile east of Whitmore Road.

The project was completed by a Saline County Road and Bridge Department crew.
