Two damage to property cases and two burglaries are among the highlights of today’s crime report.
Police are investigating damage to the window of a west Salina home caused by a b-b gun. Three holes were shot through 6-foot by 4-foot window at 944 Hancock, sometime between midnight October 14th and 7:30 p.m. Friday. Total damage is listed at $1,000.

Roy Pierce tells police that someone entered his home at 716 Park between midnight October 19th and 6 a.m. Saturday and stole a Dell laptop computer valued at $500. Police say there were no signs of forced entry.

Police say a 2005 Ford Escape owned by Maria Padillia was damaged by paintballs sometime around 7 p.m. Saturday, while it was parked in the driveway of her home in the 700 block of Osage. Padillia heard a paintball gun being shot and went outside to investigate. She found spent paintballs on the front steps and then found that the rear window of her SUV had been shot out. Paintballs also struck the exterior of her home. Total damage to the vehicle has been estimated at $600.

Salina Police are investigating the burglary of a Salina business early Sunday morning. Glass was broken out of the front door of Cirilla’s, 2144 Planet, at about 3 a.m. Taken from the business were two adult novelty items valued at a total of $169. The glass was also broken out of the front door of the business early on the morning of October 9th. It is not known if the two incidents are connected.
