The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the burglary of an unoccupied residence in Gypsum.

Undersheriff Roger Soldan said someone entered the home and garage at 711 Hawkes, sometime between 12 p.m. July 2nd and 3 p.m. Sunday.

Taken from inside the residence was a Maytag front loading washer and dryer set, a Vizio 42″ television, and a Chicago Bears scoreboard clock. Taken from the garage was a gas barbecue grill and a plastic Corvette toddler bed.

A refrigerator had also been moved from inside the house to the back porch. The refrigerator was not taken, but its two doors were missing.

Soldan said the total value of the missing items has been estimated at $5,350.
