Hoffman’s Donation to Support Impact the Cure Fund

Christine Hoffman is not only an employee at Memorial Health System, she is also an AVON representative.

During the month of October, Hoffman pledged to donate her AVON proceeds to help raise money for Impact the Cure, which funds free mammograms for the uninsured in Dickinson County. “I believe in the cause, and I am happy to do anything I can do to help,” she said.

Impact the Cure is a 5K race and walk event, which took place in Abilene on October 1, 2016. Over 350 participants came out for the event, and many more came for the fun, food and entertainment.

Hoffman had a booth at the event to display and sell her AVON Breast Cancer Crusade products. “This is the first year I have had a booth at Impact the Cure, and I am pleased that I am able to help the cause. I look forward to making it bigger and better next year,” she said.
