Salina Police are investigating the burglary of a west Salina storage shed.

Captain Mike Sweeney said someone cut the lock of a unit at Salina Mini-Storage, 2727 Centennial Road, and removed several items owned by 50-year-old Matthew Wilson.

Taken were several collectible items including a Gears of War Marcus character statue, an Injustice Batman-Wonder Woman statue, a Halo 3 collector’s edition MC helmet, a Star Wars Sith Bible collector’s book, an Arkham Batman collectible video game statue and a Destiny video game collectible.

Total value of the items has been estimated at $710.

The burglary and theft occurred sometime between 8 a.m. October 7th and 5:30 p.m. Friday, according to Sweeney.
