Police are looking for a suspect they gave chase to early Sunday morning after responding to a domestic disturbance.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney said officers were sent to a home in south Salina about 12:30a.m. Sunday morning.
As officers were arriving, the suspect got into a car and left. The suspect was found a short time later in the area of Broadway and Cloud, and would not stop when officers tried to pull them over. There was a pursuit that reached a high rate of speed on several different residential streets before officers lost the suspect in the area of 12th and Prescott.
Sweeney said the suspect is known. They allegedly damaged a door and vacuum at the home where the disturbance occurred, and they also took a cell phone.
