CLOUD COUNTY – A child was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. on Thursday in Cloud County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chevy Captiva driven by Amber Marie Dillow, 29, Concordia, was eastbound on Kansas 9 eight miles east of Concordia when it hit a deer.

A passenger in the vehicle Garrett Dillow, 7, Concordia, was transported to the Cloud County Health Center.

The boy was properly restrained in a booster seat, according to the KHP.
