Gerald Eldon Hoover, 77, of Salina, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born January 30, 1939 in Leadville, Colorado.
He retired from Robert’s Dairy after 39 years of service.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jack and Margaret Hoover; brothers, Donald, Ronald and Cecil Hoover; and sister, Norma Lentz.
Survivors include his companion and mother of his children, Theora Hoover; daughter, Lori Ramsay; and his son, Lance Hoover and wife Tresha; grandchildren, Ryan and Reilly Coyne, Emma Ramsay, Jayme, Trent and Cole Hoover.
Gerald is also survived by his sisters, Shirley Gillispie, Sharon Flemming, Judy Heimer, Jean Isaacson, Mary Ecton; and his brother, Glen Hoover.
Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2016, from 2-7 p.m. at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 East Crawford, Salina, with Pastor Tim Stringer officiating.

Funeral services for Collin P. Bailey, age 57, of Ramona, will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ramona with Reverend Clark Davis Officiating. Mr. Bailey passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the Enterprise Estates Nursing Home in Enterprise.
He was born November 24, 1958 in Florence the son of Nathan and Virleen (Barrett). He graduated from Centre High School at Lost Springs and attended Butler County Community College.
Collin served his country in the United States Navy and enjoyed fishing and model railroads.
He was an over the road truck driver working for Bailey Trucking in Abilene, Wilson Transportation in Abilene, and for TSI in Clay Center.
Collin is survived by his father Nathan of Ramona; brothers Brendan and his wife Michele Bailey of Ramona, Kevin and his wife Ann Bailey of Abilene, sisters Margaret Metz of Ramona, Kathleen Bailey of Wichita; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Virleen, brothers Sean and Damian Bailey.
His final resting place will be in the Lewis Cemetery near Ramona. His family will receive friends from 6:30 – 7:30 Monday evening at the funeral home. Marty Ray Jimerson, 59, passed away Wednesday, November 8th, at his home in Marquette.
He was born January 16th, 1957 to Charles (Chuck) and Jean Jimerson at the Lindsborg Hospital, the first baby of the year.
Marty attended K-12 schools in Marquette. He married Charlene Lyons, March 23rd, 1974.
Survivors: daughter, Mandy (Doug) Kutina and son Chad Jimerson; grandchildren, Stasha and Cross Jimerson, Erin, Brooklyn, and Austin Kutina, mother, Jean Nelson, step-father, Donald Nelson, brothers, Randy (Rosa) Jimerson, Deryl (Christy) Jimerson, sister, Paula (Mike) Best, step-sisters, Brenda Nelson and Shari Geren, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend and companion, Luke, his dog.
Marty was preceded in death by his son Michael Dean, father, Charles (Chuck) Jimerson, wife, Charlene Jimerson, step-sister, Edie Gustus, his grandparents, Paul and Ruth Jader and Charley and Nancy Jimerson.
He went to work in the Oil Fields at age 16 and worked many jobs including Caterpillar in Salina, Detroit Diesel and later had his own business, Road Ranger Diesel Mechanic.
Marty loved searching for arrowheads and other Indian Artifacts. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation, Monday, November 14th, 5-7 pm at Valley Community Church, Marquette. Funeral service Tuesday November 15th, 10:00 am at the church.

Naomi Flo Miller, 81, of Russell, Kansas, died
on Tuesday, November 08, 2016, at her home in Russell. Naomi was born September 14, 1935, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Esther (Gilliland) Hull. She grew up in Ottawa, attended local schools, and graduated from Ottawa High School in the class of 1953. She met, fell in love, and was united in marriage to Roy C. Miller on January 09, 1955 in Ottawa, Kansas. From this union, Naomi and Roy were blessed with four children: Deb, Pam, Tim, and Randy. The family lived in Ottawa for 3 years and in Gypsum, Kansas for 5 years before moving to Russell in 1964. Naomi worked as the office manager for the KRSL Radio Station in Russell from 1967 to 1994. She was a longtime member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, where she had served as Treasurer and was on the church Ad Council. She was also a member of the Kansas Good Sam’s Camping Club. She and her husband enjoyed square dancing and were Co-Presidents of the Kansas Square Dance Association during 1989-1990. She relished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving family include her husband Roy of the home, daughters Deb Miller (Alan Kirton) of Boulder, Colorado and Pam Emahizer (John) of Aurora, Nebraska; sons Tim Miller of Dexter, Missouri and Randy Miller (Laurie) of Ottawa, Kansas; sister in-law Bonnie Hull; 9 grandchildren Erin, Trevor, Megan, Jarod, Nicole, Josh, Nathan, Jordan and Shelby; 12 great-grandchildren Brennan, Hunter, Ava, Isaac, Dylan, Madison, Landon, Kolten, Aiden, Johnathon, Delilah and Maddie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Eddie, Robert, Charles and David Hull and granddaughter Lindsay Miller.
A celebration of Naomi’s life will be held at 10:30
A.M. on Monday, November 14, 2016, at the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Russell, Kansas, with Pastor Michael Eurit officiating. Burial will follow at the Russell City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at the mortuary with family present to greet guests from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Sunday evening. Memorials may be given to the Otterbein United Methodist Church or Russell Senior Center and can be sent in care of the mortuary. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
