Salina Crime Report November 14th

1-16 crime report 2Salina Police take a report of a storage unit burglary in a apartment complex. 49-year-old Ricky Tebrugge said 500 wrestling figures, trading cards, bobble-heads, two plastic wrestling rings were taken from the unit at 2130 E. Crawford between October 1st and November 12th. Loss and damage estimated at $610.

A Salina teen is arrested Monday morning for breaking the glass in the door of a business. 17-year-old Kamden Lanier is alleged to have thrown a piece of concrete through a window of the Dollar General store at 840 E. Crawford. Damage is estimated at $500. Lanier will face a requested charge of damage to property.

Salina Police are looking for a stolen pickup. A red 1991 Nissan Pickup was taken between Midnight on November 11th, and 12:30p.m. November 12th while parked along the street at 701 W. Ash. The pickup is owned by Steven Brown. The pickup is valued at $1,000.

Two handguns are among items taken in a vehicle burglary. Steven Schneider said a Smith and Wesson 9mm Shield pistol, Smith and Wesson .380 Body Guard pistol, along with a holster, sunglasses, and other items were taken from his unlocked pickup while parked in the 100 block of W. Bond between Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Loss is placed at $680.

A Salina woman reports someone broke a window in her car and stolen her purse with it’s contents including jewelry and her wedding ring. Rachal Tacha said the burglary occurred between 4p.m. and 5p.m. while in the parking lot of Planet Fitness, 2012 S. Ohio. Loss and damage is placed at $3,559.
