Maclin Ruled Out, Others Questionable for Chiefs

ChiefsChiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will miss his second consecutive game this weekend with injury. Maclin suffered a groin injury on October 30th versus the Indianapolis Colts. Maclin tried to play the following week versus Jacksonville but left early in the first quarter. He also missed last week in the victory over Carolina.

Kansas City Head Coach Andy Reid won’t commit to linebacker Justin Houston playing on Sunday but says, “I think there’s a good chance”. Houston has been practicing with the team for about four weeks after having off-season knee surgery.

Other key parts of the Chiefs defense have not been practicing this week and are listed as questionable for the upcoming game:
Cornerback Marcus Peters
Linebacker Derrick Johnson
Defensive Lineman Dontari Poe

The Chiefs (7-2) are looking to win their sixth consecutive game on Sunday when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. Pregame starts at noon on 99KG and 910 KINA.
