A 46-year-old Salina man was arrested and booked into the Saline County Jail Thursday on requested charges of rape and aggravated kidnapping.

Marshall J Matthews is accused of sexually assaulting, and holding a woman acquaintance against her will at a home in central Salina in the early morning hours of November 7th.

Police were notified of incident when the woman went to the hospital for treatment.
