
Daniel was nominated for the significant contributions he makes to the health of Saline County.
He is not only commited to smoking cessation, but also healthy eating and living a healthy lifestyle.
Daniel works for the Central Kansas Foundation as the Tobacco Use Prevention Coordinator for Saline County, leading the Saline County Tobacco Use Prevention Coalition, and has recruited involvement from many other organizations and volunteers in our community, increasing the strength behind the initiative.
Daniel also heads the “Live Well Saline County” Coalition, which helps promote healthy foods at concession stands and making healthy, locally grown foods accessible to all Saline County residents at Farmers Markets. His commitment to what he does is obvious through his passion for meeting the needs of Saline County by leading meetings and follow through, making presentations to help educate the public, and distributing educational materials to as many organizations as possible.
Daniel has also demonstrated his passion for health by running, as well as winning multiple marathons in Saline County and other areas.
Daniel has earned the respect of not only his team at work, but also Saline County!
