Police have arrested a 29-year-old Salina man on requested charges of two counts rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping, criminal threats and battery.

Javier Diaz-Guardao is alleged to sexually assaulted a woman at a south Salina home on Friday and would not let her leave.

Police began their investigation after the victim made contact.

Diaz-Guardao was booked into the Saline County Jail early Saturday afternoon.
