Salina Crime Report November 22nd

1-16-crime-reportPolice taken report of 7 G-Scale train sets taken from a storage unit. John Fassnacht, said someone cut a hole from an empty storage unit at Salina Mini Storage, 401 N. Santa Fe between November 16th and November 21st and took the Bachman trains and accessories still in packaging. Loss is placed at $1,000.

Two custom 20″ BMX bikes are stolen in a 15 minute time frame late Monday night from a bike rack in the 100 block of W. Walnut. A bike owned by Jordan Bowman was black in color with maroon rims. Loss is placed at $600.
The other bike is owned by Christopher Horton had a blue, white and purple frame with purple rims. It is valued at $400. The bikes had been chained to the bike rack. They were taken between 11:35-11:50p.m. Monday night.

A Salina man tells police he had tools stolen from his pickup. John Heitsman said two bags of MasterForce tools were taken between Sunday evening and Monday morning. Items taken include two battery chargers, 5-20 volt rechargeable batteries, two flashlights, a radio, drills, saws, and other accessories. Loss is estimated at $3,000.

Salina Police take a report of unauthorized use of a credit card twice over the weekend. Katie Allen said her Discover Card was used last Friday and Saturday to make online purchases at Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City totaling $2,769. The credit card company was able to stop the transactions. It’s not known how her credit card information was obtained.
