Alberta was born in Tipton, Kansas on December 25, 1929, a daughter of the late Katie (Simon) and John Brummer.
She was a member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina, Kansas.
On May 29, 1948, Alberta married Therman Lee King in Osborne, Kansas.
Survivors include daughter, Therese Knouf, of Salina, Kansas; son, Timothy King, and wife Cindy, of Salina, Kansas; brother, Edward Brummer, of Stockton, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Michael Payton, Tanner King, Amy King, Chasitty Logsdon, Nicole Knouf; 9 great grandchildren, Hunter King, Kyler King, Bailey Bruce, Khloe McHenry, Kyndall McHenry, Ashley Payton, Britian Payton, Micheal Payton, Danelle Payton, and 1 great great grandson, Zeke Smith.
She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Donald King; brothers, John, Leo, Alysious, Robert, Joey; sisters, Mary, Eldora, Amelia, Roberta, and Maxine.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation as cremation as taken place.
Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, on November 28, 2016 at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina, Kansas.
Inurnment will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Ft. Logan, Colorado.
