Salina Police have requested warrants for a driver of a car that was in a brief chase Monday afternoon.

Just before 5p.m. an officer noticed the driver of a car as someone with a suspended drivers license at Broadway and Woodland.

When trying to stop the driver at 10th and Antrim, the driver kept going, reaching speeds of 40mph, and violating several traffic laws.

The Officer called off the pursuit at 8th and Otis. A short time later the car was found abandoned in the 400 block of Antrim.
