The Saline County Sheriff’s Office investigating a theft from a pickup in the south industrial area. Between November 23rd and November 28th, some tried to pry open a door on a Dodge 2500 pickup, and broke a window on the pickup owned by Amerine Construction of Great Bend. The pickup was parked at Stevens Construction, 422 E. Avenue A. Taken from inside the pickup was a Stihl concrete saw. Loss and damage is placed at $4,000.

Police are reviewing security video to try to determine who stole a cell phone owned by a clerk at Casey’s 500 N. Ohio about 1:15a.m. Bradley Lepping said his Samsung Note 5 phone was laying on the counter when it was taken about 1:15am. The phone is valued at $700.
