A four foot high stack of pallets found on fire early Wednesday morning is being investigated as a case of arson.

Just before 2:30a.m. a passerby spotted the fire on the east side of Rent-A-Center, 1409 W. Crawford. The Salina Fire Department put out the fire shortly after arriving.

There was damage to paint on the wall of the business and a outside light.

Damage is estimate at $500.
