Linda has been with Birthright of Salina for thirty four years. The person nominating her for this honor experienced a complicated pregnancy with no family in the area, and therefore – went to Birthright, where she met Linda. From then on, Linda was by her side during the entire pregnancy.
Linda loves helping people and tells The Salina Post that Birthright is here to offer an alternative to abortion.
“If someone is abortion minded, we try to help them find a better way to have their baby”, says Campbell.
Campbell adds that Birthright refers women who do not want to keep their babies to an adoption agency, usually Catholic Charities. Birthright also assists with maternity clothing, baby clothing, diapers, emergency formula, even some limited financial assistance.
Linda displays a true God given passion and heart for working with pregnant women in crisis. She has the ability to sense when the women she assists are having difficult days and enjoys making herself available to comfort and pray for them.
Linda is grateful for her nearly 20 regular volunteers and everyone who helps at Birthright.
