CHEYENNE COUNTY — On Wednesday, the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism, responded to a report of an intruder being shot by a property owner in rural Cheyenne County.

There were no fatalities at the scene, according to a news release from Sheriff Cody Beeson. The incident is being investigated by the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Office, and no other details were made available.
