A Salina teen is arrested early Sunday on requested charges of vehicle burglary and theft.

18-year-old Alan Carter is accused of taking a $50 Snap-On tool kit from the pickup of Jose Rodriguez, while the pickup was in his driveway in the 2400 block of Robin Road about 2a.m.

Rodriguez called police after seeing Carter in his pickup.

Carter left the area, but was apprehended a short time later.
