A student at Salina Central reports the theft of her cell phone while in P.E. class Monday afternoon. Miriah Clark said the Iphone-7 was in her backpack left on a bench in the locker room. Loss is placed at $650.

Two Salina teens are charged with trying to break into an abandoned motel. Between 3:00-3:30p.m. 18-year-old Joshua James and 16-year-old Austin Gassmann allegedly tried to used a hammer to break plywood covering an entrance to the old Coachlight Motel at 9th and I-70. The will face requested charges of burglary and damage to property.
