Salina man dies in crash Friday

A medical condition may have been a reason for a crash early Friday afternoon that claimed the life of a 55-year-old Salina man.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney said Mark Marcotte was northbound on Ohio about 1:15p.m. when his 2009 Ford F-150 pickup began swerving from lane to lane and crashed into a tree in the 200 block of N. Ohio.

Marcotte was taken to Salina Regional Health Center where he was pronounced dead.

Sweeney said the investigation into the crash continues.
