Classical Expression

Violinist Christina Bouey will be the featured guest artist at the March 11 Classical Expression Concert at the Stiefel Theatre. Bouey will perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major, remarkable for its unwavering melodic inspiration and passionate expression.

The concert will also feature Sibelius’ masterful Symphony No. 7 and Rossini’s William Tell Overture.

Bouey, a Canada native currently living in New York City, has performed as soloist with the Greenwich Symphony, Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, River Cities Symphony, Tonkünstler Ensemble, Metro Chamber Orchestra, Bergen Symphony, Prince Edward Island Symphony and the Banff Orchestra. She is concertmaster of the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra and is a founding member of the Ulysses String Quartet.

This concert is presented in partnership with the Kansas Wesleyan University International Music Festival.
