Ronda Russell said, “I am very appreciative for any and all measures that will help catch the criminal and prevent this horrific deed from reoccurring.”
Original story:
The owners of “A Little Hors’n Around,” Randy and Ronda Russell reported that sometime between the evening of March 30, and the morning of March 31, one of their miniature horses, “Misty” had been shot. According to Sheriff Soldan, there were two bullet wounds on the horse, one in the neck and the other in the cheek.
The Russell’s have a small petting zoo on the 4200 block of East K-4 Highway. It is possible that Misty could have been shot from the road. The pasture is close to the home, and the owners did not hear any shots fired.
Randy and Ronda Russell are offering a $500 reward for information that will assist in solving this crime.
