Polls are now open for today’s Kansas Democratic and Republican primaries. Polls close at 7 p.m.

If you intend to vote in today’s primary, you will need to either already be registered as a Republican or Democrat or declare a party affiliation at the polling place.

A number of races on both sides have several candidates from which to choose, including five persons running for Kansas governor on the Democratic side and seven persons running on the Republican side.
