KINA and 99KG are winners when it comes to severe weather coverage in Salina and the surrounding area!

According to the Kansas Association of Broadcasters (KAB), KINA and 99KG are the 2018 winners in the Complete Severe Weather Coverage category! The award was one of several for the stations and one of a number of awards garnered by Eagle Communications.

KINA’s Saturdays with Bill and Dave also placed first for Public Affairs Program.

Additionally, KINA and Sports Director Devin Hanney placed second in Sports Play-by-Play. 99KG also was honored with a second place for commercial radio production.

In addition to the KAB awards won by KINA and 99KG, Eagle Communications won a number of awards through its other stations across the state. The awards will be presented October 15 during the KAB Awards Dinner in Wichita.
