SALINE COUNTY— One person was injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Thursday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Buick Century driven by Betty L. Hall, 68, Enterprise, was northbound on U.S. 81 just north of Interstate 70- Interstate 135 Junction.

The driver attempted to make a U-turn, failed to yield and collided with a northbound 2015 Peterbilt semi driven by Cody J. Miller, 43, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Hall was not wearing a seat belt and transported to the hospital in Salina, according to the KHP. Miller was not injured.
