A Salina man has been arrested and charged with mistreatment of a dependent adult.

Kevin Allen, 49, is accused of stealing $45,000 over a three-year period from a family member. Sgt. Jim Feldman said the case is still under investigation and additional charges are possible.

Police were made aware of the case after being contacted by the Kansas Department of Children and Families.
