Neil W. Albrecht

Neil W. Albrecht, 46, of Salina, passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, after several years of battling mental illness. He was born Sept. 26, 1971, to Leonard and Bernadine Albrecht in Herington. Neil married Jolene Hanschu, Aug. 6, 1994.

Neil started his career as a radiologic technologist at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City. Mo., and then completed 20 years of service in radiology at Salina Regional Health Center. He recently worked as a bus driver at OCCK.

Survivors include: his wife of 24 years, Jolene; daughters, Kallie and Morgan; son, Landon; mother, Bernadine Albrecht, of Herington; sisters, Linda James and Donna Staatz of Herington: father-in-law, Junior Hanschu of Ramona; brothers and sisters-in-law Jayson and Jan Hanschu of Hillsboro, and Jeff and Jennifer Braden, of Windom.

Preceded in death by his father; and sister, Lois Gentz.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with prayer service at 6:30.

Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina, with burial at 2:30 p.m. in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Lyon’s Creek, rural Herington.

Memorials to: Trinity Lutheran Church or Southeast of Saline Foundation (Albrecht children college education,) in care of Ryan Mortuary.
