The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a boat from a private lake in the southeast part of the county.

Sheriff Roger Soldan said Wednesday that sometime between September 15-25, someone stole a 10-foot, two-person bass boat that was stored at Pioneer Lake in the 4700 block of East Kansas Highway 4. The boat was valued at $500, he added.

There are no suspects at this time, Soldan said.
