Salina man faces multiple charges after backing pickup into two cars

A Salina man has been arrested on several charges after he allegedly stole a pickup and backed it into two parked vehicles.

The incident occurred late Thursday night in the 900 block of North 13th, Detective Sergeant David Villanueva said Friday. A Salina man had left his 1996 Chevrolet 1500 pickup running after he exited the vehicle and another man, Alan Salgado-Coco, 30, of Salina, allegedly jumped in the pickup, put it into reverse and hit two parked vehicles, Villanueva said.

Salgado-Coco was arrested on charges including DUI, theft of vehicle, an ignition interlock violation, and improper backing, Villanueva said.
