On December 1 at 6:30 a.m., deputies responded to an aggravated burglary in the 300 block of South Main Street in Smolan.

The resident reported hearing someone walking around inside the house at 4 a.m. Upon further inspection, the resident located an open door. The resident reported that an unknown brand laptop computer and a Samsung computer monitor were stolen.

Total loss is estimated to be nearly $500.
