A vehicle that was stolen Friday morning from the parking lot of a local restaurant was later found in a cemetery west of Salina.
According to Salina Police Sergeant Jim Feldman, Salinan Ricco Hartfield left his maroon 1996 Chevrolet Caprice running while he went into the McDonald’s at 2236 Planet Avenue between 10:15-10:18 a.m. Friday. Upon exiting the restaurant, he discovered that his vehicle was missing, Feldman said. The vehicle was valued at $2,500.
At approximately 2:15 p.m. Friday, a Saline County Sheriff’s deputy located the vehicle in a cemetery near the intersection of Cloud and Lightville west of Salina, Feldman said. The inside of the vehicle was damaged, he added.
