Reorganization, a couple of department updates, and a full study session are among the agenda items for Tuesday’s Saline County Commission meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 W. Ash. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.
The reorganization will include electing a commission chair.
The commissioners are scheduled to hear an update from Marilyn Leamer, human resources director. They also are scheduled to hear an update from County Engineer Justin Mader.
Additionally, the commissioners are scheduled to consider a motor grader purchase request from Darren Fishel, road and bridge administrator.
At the conclusion of the regular meeting, the commissioners are scheduled to meet in a study session in room 107B of the City-County Building. Topics and times include the following.
- Water Well Road bridge replacement project — Mader (30 minutes)
- Armstrong Road structure closure — Mader (20 minutes)
- Lapsley Road easement study session — County Clerk Jamie Allen (15 minutes)
- County Administrator Rita Deister’s weekly update (30 minutes)
