Salina Police are investigating an incident reported to have involved aggravated robbery, battery, and kidnapping at a north Salina motel.
According to Salina Police Detective Sergeant David Villanueva, a 61-year-old Salina man reported Wednesday that the incident occurred between 12:30-6 a.m. on January 10 at the Log Cabin Motel, 440 N. Broadway.
The man told police he had let an unknown female into his room to use the telephone, and that another male also came into the room, Villanueva said. The victim told police that the duo held him in his room, Villanueva said. The man also said they both indicated they had firearms in their pockets, though none were shown, Villanueva added.
Additionally, the male suspect told the victim that he would shoot him if he reported the incident to police, Villanueva said.
Villanueva said the duo took the following from the man before they left.

- A debit card
- A beard trimmer
Villanueva said the suspects were described as follows.
- Female — Heavy-set, 5′-6″ tall, brown hair
- Male — mid-late 30s, reddish hair, beard
Villanueva encouraged members of the public to call the Salina Police Department (785-826-7210) if they have any information about the incident or the suspects.
