Hair Affaire’s Cut-a-Thon to benefit Salina Shares is just around the corner!

The third annual event is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hair Affaire, 808 E. Crawford. The cost is $15 per haircut and $8 per eyebrow wax.

While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are appreciated. Please make appointments by calling Hair Affaire at 785-827-0445.

“This is our only fundraiser this year. We encourage you to make an appointment, or feel free to drop off a donation. For this event, we are asking for payment with cash or checks only. We look forward to meeting you! All proceeds will go to Salina Shares, sponsors of the Laundry Love program in Salina,” Salina Shares noted on its Facebook page.

Additionally, Hair Affaire also will be having a bake sale to raise money for Maverick, who was born on Aug. 13 with ASAL Deficiency and is at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Maverick’s grandmother is a stylist at Hair Affire, the Salina Shares Facebook post indicated.
