Salina Police believe they know who the suspect is in two theft cases where a woman steals a car from one man, and a moped from another man last Friday and Saturday.

Captain Paul Forrester said the woman described as being in her 20s with red hair, a distinctive tattoo on her chest, and star tattoos on her leg, met a 60-year-old man in Oakdale Park and ask if he could help her move some furniture.

The pair went back to the man’s home where they played billiards. While the man was changing clothes the woman took the keys to his 2006 gray 4-door Malibu and left. She also left the bike she was riding when she met the man in the park. The licence plate to the car is Kansas 241-HUV. The loss is estimated at $3,500.

Then late Saturday afternoon apparently the same woman met a 44-year-old man at a garage sale on S. Phillips Street and went home with the man to take a shower and clean up. She then rode with the man to a liquor store at Ohio and Iron to make a purchase. While the man was inside the store, the woman rode off on his 2009 Kymco moped . It has a Kansas license of 37LVW. The value of the moped is placed at $1,000.
