The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred just east of Smolan.

Around Sept. 11, a 32-year-old Salina woman moved from a residence on West Smolan Road and returned Wednesday to discover that several items she had stored in a nearby shed had been stolen, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said Thursday. Items taken included the following, Soldan said.

• A red and black two-seat Coleman go-cart ($700 value)
• A purple bicycle ($60 value)
• A white bicycle ($60 value)
• An unknown color of bicycle ($60 value)
• A lock that had been placed on the shed ($20 value)
