Gain insight into the work of the USD 305 Equity Council in an upcoming program sponsored by the Salina League of Women Voters.Shanna Rector, executive director of administration and student support services, and Equity Council member Joe Jackson will speak during the October Lunch and Learn program planned for 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Prescott Room of Salina Public Library, 301 West Elm Street.
The Salina league sponsors Lunch and Learn programs six times per year. Each focuses on an issue of local or national interest. All are open to league and non-league members. Since the program occurs during the lunch hour, those who attend can bring a sack lunch. Coffee and cookies will be provided by the league.
