The Salina Municipal Airport recorded 1.16 inches for the 24-hour period that ended at 7 a.m. Saturday. In southeast Salina, near the Eagle Radio studios, 1.10 inches were reported.
According to the National Weather Service, scattered showers were expected to continue Saturday morning across the area. Another chance of storms returns to most of the area Wednesday night and Thursday. A few strong storms will be possible Thursday.
