Richard Herbert Mutschler, 95, of Gypsum, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, October 8th, 2019.

Richard was born in Arkansas City, Kansas on August 22, 1924, a son of the late Helena Henrietta (Lehmann) and John Frederick Alexander Mutschler.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Leona H. (Anschutz) Mutschler; daughter, Elaine Reidl (Jon); three sons, Donald Mutschler, Paul Mutschler (Gwen), and Harold Mutschler (Glenda); sister Louise Crump; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Louise Crump, and a grandson, Alan Riedl.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 702 S. 9th Street, Salina.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Burial will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Gypsum, Kansas.
