A proclamation request and several updates are among the agenda items for the Saline County Commission meeting on Tuesday morning.

Commissioners are scheduled to begin their day at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday with an executive session concerning attorney-client privilege. A location was not provided on the commission agenda.

The first of two commission meetings is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday in room 107 of the City-County Building, 300 West Ash. This meeting is televised by Salina Media Connection. A time for public comment is scheduled near the beginning of the meeting.

Robert Jenkins, executive director of Rolling Hills Zoo, is scheduled to ask commissioners to proclaim Oct. 26, 2019, as Rolling Hills Zoo’s 20th Anniversary Celebration.

Commissioners also are scheduled to consider a minivan bid award for community corrections, hear the county engineer’s update, and hear an update on the county administrator’s position.

At the conclusion of that meeting, a study session is scheduled for room 107B of the City-County Building. During the study session, the commissioners are scheduled to hear the county administrator’s weekly update from Hannah Stambaugh, interim county administrator. The update is scheduled to take 30 minutes.
