A Solomon teen was injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident early Monday morning in eastern Saline County.

First responders were called to Amos Road about a quarter-mile north of East Old Highway 40 at 2:53 a.m., Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said Monday.

According to Soldan, Asia Yost, 18, Solomon, was northbound on Amos Road in a 2010 Chrysler 300 when she lost control of the vehicle. He said the Chrysler went into the west ditch and rolled. Yost, who was wearing a seatbelt, was able to climb out of the vehicle, and walked to a nearby residence to call for help, Soldan said.

Yost was transported to Salina Regional Health Center by Salina EMS, he said.
