Kansas man hospitalized after attempt to cross ravine

LINCOLN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 10p.m. Tuesday in Lincoln County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported 2000 Volkswagen Passat driven by Mark Landie, 36, Pomona, entered a field at 290th Road approximately a mile from Interstate 70.

The vehicle became disabled when the driver attempted to cross a ravine.

EMS transported Landie to the Lincoln County Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
